Therapy for binge eating and bulimia
Making peace with food and body
Online sessions for adults and teens
Hi, I’m Pippa
I know first-hand how distressing and overwhelming it is to struggle with issues around food and body. As a parent, seeing your child caught in cycles of out-of-control eating, guilt, or harmful behaviours can feel heart-breaking and deeply concerning. Whether your teenager is dealing with binge eating and/or bulimia, I offer compassionate, effective support from someone who has been there and truly understands.
As a counsellor, clinical supervisor, and mindfulness teacher, I provide tailored guidance to help your teenager heal their relationship with food and their body, while supporting you as a parent.
Finding the right help for your teenager
Helping your child feel more at peace with food, their bodies and themselves
Watching your teenager struggle with a difficult relationship with food while also facing the pressures of school, friendships, and growing up can feel overwhelming and distressing as a parent. Healing from issues like binge eating and bulimia is not a one-size-fits-all process. That’s why I use a toolbox of reflective and practical approaches to support your teenager in developing a healthier and more compassionate relationship with food and their body.
What to expect
I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where your teenager can feel safe to explore what’s keeping them stuck and discover what can help them move forward. Our sessions will move at a pace that feels right for them, blending therapeutic and coaching methods that are tailored to their needs. These may include reflective practices, structured activities, and grounding techniques like mindfulness. We’ll work collaboratively to support your teen in breaking free from unhelpful patterns and making meaningful, lasting change.
Working together to support your teen
I offer an integrative approach that combines elements of both traditional therapy and coaching, designed to meet the unique needs of teenagers struggling with binge eating or bulimia. Techniques include:
Reflective Practices: To gently explore and address the underlying factors contributing to your teenager's disordered eating patterns, helping them gain insight into their relationship with food.
Practical Strategies: Personalised tips and exercises tailored to break cycles of binge eating or purging, such as structured meal planning or self-compassion techniques.
Mindfulness & Grounding Exercises: Simple, accessible tools to help your teenager manage overwhelming emotions, build greater self-awareness, and reduce stress in their daily life.
Together, we’ll create a safe, compassionate space to address the mental, emotional, and physical roots of the challenges your teenager is facing. My goal is to support them in finding peace and freedom around food and their body, while also providing you with the guidance you need as a parent.
