Online therapy
Helping you (or your child) feel like yourself again
Flexible online counselling to suit your needs
Help is here
When life feels overwhelming, whether you’re facing your own challenges or it’s your teenager who is struggling, it can leave us feeling lost, isolated, and unsure where to turn or who can help. Maybe you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, or a sense of being stuck. Or perhaps your teen is withdrawing, acting out, or wrestling with intense emotions and mood swings. Finding the right support can feel like navigating a maze.
Online therapy sessions with Pippa provide a safe, convenient space for both teens and adults to access the support they need quickly and easily. We can work together to support you or your teen to feel better and get the most out of life.
How does online therapy work?
Online therapy, also known as counselling, works much like in-person sessions, but we use video calls to create a supportive and safe space for you or your teen to share what’s on your mind and work through challenges together.
Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. Some people find comfort in talking, while others prefer engaging in reflective activities. Using tools like an interactive whiteboard or simply pen and paper, we can explore issues creatively, which can help people feel more comfortable and encourage fresh perspectives.
Together, we can also practise breathing exercises and mindfulness techniques to build self-regulation skills and help you or your teenager feel more grounded and at ease.
Is it as effective as in-person therapy?
Yes! Studies show that online therapy is just as effective as in-person sessions. Being in the comfort of your own space can help lower anxiety and allow you to get the most out of your sessions.
Online therapy is also a flexible and convenient option, saving you time on long commutes to therapy offices and making therapy more accessible, even with long waiting lists.
Hello, I’m Pippa
I’m passionate about supporting both teenagers and adults through life’s challenges. With over 10 years of experience working with young people, adults, and families in schools, universities, private practice, and mental health training and research, I bring a deep understanding of the unique needs of adolescents as well as the complexities faced by adults.
In addition to my therapy work, I am also a clinical supervisor, supporting other counsellors in their professional growth and helping them navigate the challenges of their therapy practice.
Whether working with teens or adults, I focus on creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore their struggles and make meaningful progress.
